��Ȧ��Դվ Langone Military Family Clinic

��Ȧ��Դվ Langone Military Family Clinic provides mental health care for service members and their families who are affected by deployment and other life stressors.

The Military Family Center opened in 2012. Its specialists have assessed more than 600 active duty service members, veterans, and family members. ��Ȧ��Դվ Langone clinicians have treated nearly 400 people in the New York City area.

��Ȧ��Դվ Langone mental heath professionals work with spouses, children, siblings, parents, and grandparents. Family members may come for treatment even if their loved one doesn’t wish to seek help.

Our highly trained and dedicated clinicians address a broad range of concerns related to PTSD. They provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families, as well as medication and psychiatric and psychological evaluations.

The centeralso works with dozens of local agencies to help people with PTSD and their families find additional support and resources during recovery. Our specialists can refer people with PTSD and their families to social workers, educational programs, and support groups.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Research Program

The Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Research Program at ��Ȧ��Դվ Langone aims to advance clinicians’ understanding of the condition. The goal is to find new ways to accurately diagnose PTSD and provide effective treatment.

Our clinicians study a variety of issues related to PTSD, such as the way people with the condition deal with stress. They are developing tools and treatments to help people with PTSD manage stress. ��Ȧ��Դվ Langone specialists also research the unique stressors faced by law enforcement professionals and members of the armed forces.
